This ZNR-140 4ch NMEA Buffer/Converter receives one serial data and distributes it to 4 output ports. This 4ch NMEA Buffer/Converter can receive and transmit any type of serial data such RS422, RS-232 and 5V TTL signal independently.

The 1NMEA to4 is designated for the distribution from one serial data source (NMEA or RS 232) to max. four receivers (RS 422 or NMEA). In case of usage of NMEA source the RS 232 port can be use for a monitoring of a data string. The four outputs of the module are selectable with the help of switches to RS 422 or NMEA. The NMEA input channel is galvanically isolated from the system and the power supply.

The 1NMEA to8 is designated for the distribution from one serial data source (NMEA or RS 232) to max. eight receivers (RS 422). In case of usage of NMEA source the RS 232 port can be use for a monitoring of a data string. The NMEA input channel are galvanically isolated from the system and the power supply.

The 2NMEA to12 is designated for the distribution from two serial data source
(NMEA) to max. 12 receivers (RS 422 or NMEA). The two NMEA inputs of the
module are separately assignable to the multiple outputs with help of jumpers
and galvanic isolated from the power supply and the outputs.

The VL-SDN is assigned to be used for redundant NMEA distribution. With its 2 galvanic isolated NMEA inputs the board can select automatically between both inputs to forward them to the 12xRS422 and 2xRS232 outputs. If one input is missing the module will switch over to the second one automatically. A possibility to switch over manually is also included. Due to its 2 power inputs 9-32VDC also the power source is redundant.

The module 1NMEA to2 is designed for the distribution from one serial
data source (NMEA or RS 422) to max. two receivers (RS 422 or NMEA).
The input of the module can be scheduled with help of the
jumper J1 (120 Ohm). The input is galvanically isoltaed from the outsputs and
the power supply.
